Application enrollment periods are semi-annually from
March 15 – April 15 and from September 15 – October 15.
The State of Delaware's Management Development Institute provides a Supervisory Development Certificate (SDC) program. First-line supervisors, as well as potential supervisors, need a comprehensive, progressive series of developmental opportunities to continually improve their performance. This certificate program encourages supervisors to improve individual, team, and organizational performance. In addition, investment in the development of state supervisors will greatly enhance the state's succession management.
The Supervisory Development Certificate program builds on six core competencies necessary for developing effective supervisors and leaders.
