We appreciate the positive response to the Human Resource Certificate (HRC) program. The program has grown to 215 active participants with 40 graduates. To better serve our current participants, we are suspending the upcoming open enrollment period. We will not be accepting new applications for the October 15, 2009 – November 15, 2009 open enrollment period. Please check back at this web site during our next open enrollment period, April 15 – May 15, 2010.
The State of Delaware’s Human Resource Certificate program is designed to develop the knowledge, skills, and abilities of HR practitioners and other State of Delaware employees who aspire to HR positions within the State system. The program encourages Human Resource professionals to take on new roles that stress the importance of organizational vision, customer-focused practices, managerial flexibility and worker empowerment, while remaining true to the more traditional responsibilities associated with attracting, retaining, motivating, and compensating employees.
The Human Resource Certificate program builds on five core competencies necessary for developing effective Human Resource professionals.
