  • Informational Meetings: October 15, 2007 & October 22, 2007

    These informational meetings are for state agencies and training providers/consultants interested in submitting proposals for the First State Quality Improvement Fund. Each will be held in the Human Resource Management training room in the Barratt Building (1st floor) at 821 Silver Lake Boulevard in Dover from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon.
     
  • First State Quality Improvement Fund Request for Proposals are accepted on November 15th of each year.


What is the First State Quality Improvement Fund?
The First State Quality Improvement Fund provides funds for state agency initiatives that promote long-term commitment to continuous quality improvement. These initiatives must be directed toward improving the quality of service of state agencies by promoting improved customer service and higher standards of excellence for a more efficient and productive state government.

Who can apply for these funds?
During each fiscal year (July 1 to June 30), $150,000 is available for quality initiatives. State agencies, including all executive departments, offices of state elected officials, and the Courts are eligible to apply for funds by submitting a Request For Proposal (RFP) before the designated deadline. When can proposals be submitted?

First State Quality Improvement Fund Request for Proposals are accepted on November 15th of each year. You will find details about where to send completed proposals in the RFP.
