This resource guides you through using Voting Buttons, Scheduling Meetings, Finding Emails Quickly, Organizing your Tasks, Using a Signature, Creating Rules, and Sorting Your Messages.
Tools for Office 2007
Tools for Office 2007 is an online course designed to show you some of the ways to increase your productivity by providing an overview of the tools and shortcuts available in Office 2007 applications. This course focuses on Excel and Word providing quick tips and tools along with step by step instructions for creating electronic forms, control/run charts, Pareto and histograms, and pivot tables. This course may be taken as a stand-alone or as the online component of the Work Process Improvement Tools and Techniques course. Please note: This course is intended of users of Office 2007. A separate course is available for users of Office 2003 or earlier versions of Office. We have developed two separate courses due to the significant differences between Office 2007 and earlier versions.

DEL Tutorial for Hiring Managers
This course is intended for hiring managers, HR professionals, and HR Certificate Participants.
This tutorial will give you an overview of the DEL system. From creating requisitions to viewing and dispositioning referral lists, this tutorial will give you step-by-step instructions on the system and show you how to make hiring a fast and easy process.
Human Resource Certificate (HRC) participants can access this course through the HRC restricted website. Non-HRC participants should send an email to Statewide_Training@state.de.us with the subject: Online DEL Tutorial Access Request. Once you send the email, you will receive instructions to access the course.
Selection Interviewing Class
This course is intended for hiring managers, interview panel members, HR professionals, and HR Certificate Participants.
We now have an Online Selection Interviewing Class available for Hiring Managers and those serving on interview panels. By completing this online tutorial, you will understand the purpose of interviewing, how to develop interview questions, what questions to avoid, how to determine the best candidate, and more. Statewide Benefits Class
This course is intended for HR professionals and HR Certificate Participants.
The Statewide Benefits course is being updated to reflect the changes effective FY'11. We anticipate the course to be back online by early fall. We appreciate your understanding while this course is being updated.
Supervisory OrientationTo receive credit for Supervisory Orientation, all five modules must be completed. SDC participants should complete each module and submit the special Supervisory Orientation Course Notes form. This course is intended for supervisors, managers, and SDC Participants.
The Supervisor's Role (Module 2)
This online course is the second of five modules for the Supervisory Orientation Course. In this module, current and aspiring supervisors will learn the evolution of supervision, the qualities of a good supervisor, the critical functions and needs of supervision, and things to consideration when supervising others.

Learning Microsoft Excel Handbook – This handbook introduces Excel and provides information on using the toolbars, formatting, basic formulas, and charts.
Advanced Microsoft Excel Handbook – This handbook includes naming cells, creating drop down lists, PivotTables, formulas, and keyboard shortcuts. You will also need to download the PowerUser (.xls) spreadsheet for the examples within this handbook.
Learning Microsoft PowerPoint – This handbook provides an explanation and application of many features in Microsoft PowerPoint.
