2006 DELAWARE RECOGNITION AWARDS LUNCHEON
MAY 3, 2006

The Delaware Award for Excellence and Commitment in State Service annual awards luncheon was held on May 3, 2006, at the Modern Maturity Center in Dover. This award is given annually by the Governor to five State employees, or groups of employees. Governor Ruth Ann Minner and Lt. Governor John C. Carney was on hand to award this year's Recipients and Nominees. The Recipients are The Department of State Team---Sherrie Ayers, Sharon Cunningham and Diane Walls, Department of State; Erin Bartley, Department of Health and Social Services; Dawn M. Pickett, Department of Labor; Armando Rivera, Department of Transportation; and Eddie Tunstall, Office of Management and Budget. Over one hundred guests, including Agency Heads, Legislative and Court Officials, Recognition Coordinators, and family members attended the luncheon. Also attending the luncheon were the recent graduates of the Supervisory Development Certificate Program.
